Problem is that mentally ill is a big blanket term and that can mean anything from a minor issue to stabby mcbanananutbutters
I'm not gonna judge on that but if someone was dangerously unstable then it'd be pretty evident and I doubt that you would make very good friends with them unless you had a similar mental state
