I can help! I know SuperCrazyWacko pretty well too.

Get on the server at 3:00. Admins aren't being accepted anymore, but anybody can make builds for the project!

Ok

Wait- I think I have baseball at that time. If you have Steam, add me. Im cocoaTHEhotdog

Why would I add you? You can just join the Steam Group...Contact me that way.

I wouldn't worry about colors. Many announcements are likely to happen during the "brainstorm session". Expect something related to the "apartments" to be announced.

Like I told the other guy, I can guarantee that our build will be nicer.
I haven't really been paying bl these last few months but I could get a new build in a weekend.

Meanwhile it's been two months and you haven't so much as stated scripting.

Well, good timing I suppose. DrenDran, may I ask why you are looking to sabotage this?

To answer the "scripting statement", that would be because I'm not ready to release details. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're already out of high school. I'm not. Things happen. Thus, it's been a slow couple of weeks.

Edit: Pretty sad that you're scrounging around for minute details however.

Some of blockland's best projects take months to make, mainly because they're good projects/builds or development is just slow for other reasons. Don't see your point.

This looks pretty cool, actually. I'll look out for it.

Well, I must apologize for yesterday. The server did not stay up for very long because we weren't getting many visitors, and a few other reasons. I apologize if you were planning to get on later that night and it wasn't on.
We also won't be able to post any screenshots today. The design has gone under an extreme change, and apartments are no longer "a thing". They were pointless, and they were simply taking too much time.

Now, for every bit of bad news, I have some good news!

1. Our builders are a bit more active. This means that the building side of the project will be done momentarily. Hopefully, quickly.

2. If you haven't heard already, we now have a Steam forum! This would be an easy way for any of you to contact us directly without having to wait for a response. And, of course, this also means that you can voice-chat with other users. If you are interested, the link is in the "Contact Info" section of the OP.

3. Lastly, since there hasn't been much posting here, I've withheld a bunch of info from you guys so that it's all surprising and new. I plan to release a bit of info each week. This should entice everyone, and keep the hype alive.

To close, I have large plans for the project, and I can most certainly say that it won't die off. Sure, the programming side of things hasn't been addressed yet, but it will be shortly. In fact, there isn't a whole lot to program (but there is some stuff). If there are no interruptions, I can definitely say that a summer release is feasible.

Now, if you are a builder, we could always take more. To be honest, we don't have that many and that's part of the reason of why progress is so slow. Anyway, if you are interested, you can do one of two things. You can PM me, or you can post in the Steam Forums. I check both regularly, so it's mainly preference.

Hope you have a great rest of your day, and thanks for reading!

Hello everyone! I am here to post the weekly update on progress! This week, we have completely redesigned the project (almost from the ground up!)! Well, this means quite a few things, but let's just start with the features of the new design.

1. Little to no instances (preserves the feel of immersion)

2. Smaller houses (This will allow for lower brick count)

3. Gamemodes won't be located inside the "Hub" any more. (Reason? Loading and deleting bricks to cycle levels. This would cause tons of lag. If we used just 1 map per gamemode, it would work, but it would quickly get boring.)

4. Gamemodes are all located outside the town in a "forest". This will allow for theming, and again, more immersion. You will be able to push a button near the gamemode to join it.

5. Due to Badspot's upcoming inclusion of hats, we are removing them from shops. Shops will now have something else to offer.

6. Also due to brick count, we are removing the ability to fully customize your furniture. We may re-add this in at some point, but for the time being, this is for the best. Players will be able to use pre-set furniture (similar to Animal Crossing), and pre-set designs for houses. Everything will still be paintable, but now the brick count can be preserved.

I hope these are welcome changes that all of you were hoping to hear! The only bad thing is: more waiting. This requires an entirely different map. I will try to use as much of the old map as possible, but it will most likely not fit in very well. We are trying to create a new experience, and I hope that this will make it one. Also, because of this new map, we are looking for people to do terrain work. Please reply to this saying that you're willing to do some work on the project (whether bricks or terrain), and I'll contact you later about getting in and starting. I hope you enjoyed reading!
