Post anything related to aviation. If you've flown on one, you lose. "You Flown, You Lose" is an alternate title, but this is also a megathread.
For those of you who don't know, or have been living under a rock since the forties, commercial aviation is the transport of passengers across the world (international) or across countries (domestic). It varies in price and usually you pay for one seat (one ticket). The oldest currently running airline is KLM which had its first commercial flight in 1927. The worst - maybe not the most famous, but the worst - incident involving commercial aviation (excluding 9/11 which was mostly ground casualties) was the Tenerife incident, which also involved KLM. As a huge fan of KLM, I also own a 50s KLM luggage bag.
Today, I bought a 1960 American Airlines flight information booklet that included info about the brand new Boeing 707 "Jetliner"! It's kind of funny compared to all the new stuff we have now. I also, on that same trip, bought a vintage TWA Swizzle stick, which had "Africa" on it, and I also bought an old deck of American Airlines playing cards.
Now I know some of you are going to say it's ironic that Muslim would be posting a thread on commercial aviation, but it's my interest. I have three model planes, a US Airways A330 (I think it is, I can't really tell), a vintage-livery Air France a320, and a New York Air 737.
What planes - COMMERCIAL - are you seriously interested in? Keep that military stuff out of here, you can make another thread for that ridiculous bull.
Here's a really good picture I found today.
