Author Topic: I bought blockland before it was on Steam, can i get it on there free?  (Read 1249 times)

So the title makes it self-explanatory, can i do that somehow? I have a steam account and would like to put it on there not using the non-steam game shortcut feature

yeah, there's a steam key generator on the main site i think

blockland.us/steam-redeem.php

what, why
why?

non-steam version means alts alts alts

and in steam you can have only one key.

+no workshop

Not recommended.
There really isn't a reason not to.
You can still use your normal blockland executable and key even if you register it on steam.

Steam version also means alts alts alts

You can still have the normal version of blockland for multiple keys.
Or even... multiple steam accounts!

And you still don't have workshop without steam.

Seriously, here's the major difference:

Registering your copy for steam
Pros:
You can have it on steam
You can still play it normally
Cons:

Not registering your copy for steam

So? Using the Steam version does not stop you from using the non-Steam verison.

You don't have a key. You can always switch to using key-based auth if you want.

+no workshop

The non-Steam version does not have a workshop either. Your point is?

I regret putting my alt account as my Steam one now. Now I never log any Steam hours on Blockland.

Also Fab what would you need more than one key for anyways?

I'll say, better wait till a mass screenshot real fix is on Steam. I wont tell you hurr no wakrsahp because neither normal blockland has one. Though they are working with steam workshop integration.

Yeah the mass screenshot thing is pretty annoying. It happened if you were playing it as a non-steam game too, as well as a couple of other torque 2d/3d engine games.
