does anyone else have problems recognizing people who changes avatars often?

Like, I just start to recognize people by the pic rather than the name

Yeah, I identify people by their avatars a lot.
If the avatar is poorly drawn or looks bad I assume the person is an idiot.

I get used to it after a while. I don't even recognize my own posts for a good day or two.

if I like their new avatar more than their old one I have no problem getting used to it
but if it's not preferable there becomes a problem

I change mine by the season thanks to the big cheese LolBurt. I shouldn't be the hardest to identify because mine follows the same art style.

It is annoying like when i see "Dreams_of_cheese" i think it "Mocheeze" they look exactly alike

I can't help changing my avatar occasionally, i try to stick with something, but then i find something i like and just want to have it as an avatar for a while before switching to something new

I couldn't tell what that was underneath the Santa hat, i kept thinking of a knit hat like what Blockland has, it's been too long for me to remember whether or not if it wasn't obscured by another hat

I guess you'd have mentioned Yndaaa making the party hat when you first talked about your avatar, but again, too long ago for me to remember
