this isn't even 10% done yet

You think yourself an Ace? I really really want to Dogfight you, my grandpa was a pilot for B-17s and P-51s.

He had a Dauntless, but never flew it. He was the rear gunner.

As a WW1/WW2 combat flight simulator enthusiast and a virtual ace, I expected something more than just a HUD from a topic with such title :(

But even though I'm not into modern stuff (what comes to aviation), I gotta say this looks pretty damn nice.

What are you still going to add to it (if it isn't even 10% done yet)? Im used to only have few gauges and a compass so I don't know much about this kind of HUD stuff

*brain starts smoking*
...
is my brain supposed to hurt right now???

Its fairly simple actually.

Current G. Current G-force.
The Max Gs/speed before you pass out or you go so fast your wings break off.
Altitude, scale and readout all mark your pos.

Radar alt is, well radar altitude.

I never loving understood the pitch alt bars though. Can someone explain those to me?

Wasn't there something like this for altitude and speed and bank angle or something? I really want one for just planes like the Passenger jet. Like a HUD that would put an instrument or two in the corner.
