Atheism is a faith too.  They have faith in logic and science instead of a deity and a Book.

we are the opposite of faith, we require actual solid loving proof. You guys have "faith" in "Him".

Wait wait wait, I thought miraclewhip was a type of mayo.

I didn't see the video so I assumed that it is whipped cream.

What would having faith in logic , science , deity and a book be?
What.

Atheism has faith in proof then.  If one doesn't have faith in proof, then they don't believe that proof is real.

It may not be, but do you require it EVERY time something happens?

Not trying to, just asking questions.

What? No. Proof requires no faith as far as I can tell. Faith is belief without proof. Knowledge is a foundation in proof and building around that to expand your understanding of the world around you.
EDIT: At least that is what I have come to understand after 14 years here.

Well, there's a bit of a loophole that could be abused, but it would be quite a stretch to do so.

Since faith is belief in something with lack of proof, then I guess believing that 'God' isn't real without proof might count as faith too? I'm not saying it's right, I'm just bringing it up for the sake of argument, regardless of how wrong it may be.

In my opinion agnosticism is the furthest away from faith you can get since agnosticism is absolute indifference one way or another, there is no belief involved at all.

It may not be, but do you require it EVERY time something happens?
yes

there is nothing unusual about that.
It's ridiculous to go through life assuming things work by magic.

For forget's sake guys. OP, lock this topic.

You have a point, having no preference one way or the other requires no belief. But isn't Agnosticism a balance between religion and lack thereof? So there's at least some belief somewhere? I may be completely wrong here, I'm just inferring over what i have learned.

With me personally, I believe in Christianity, but I also like going through each little historical part of the Bible and doing intensive searching to make undoubtedly sure that it's true.  During some arguments, I will take everything that the atheist believes about something and go through everything and try to prove it wrong with backed up knowledge in a folder I have.
