religion will fade away eventually, even if its buried deep within our roots
newer generations just dont have time for this stuff

yes

there is nothing unusual about that.
It's ridiculous to go through life assuming things work by magic.

Well, I don't believe that stuff.

I was just pointing out the question: Don't you just go on with your life instead of pointing out facts and stuff. I mean, it is pointless to sit around figuring out- Why did I trip? or Why the hell did I drop this pencil?

Not assumming that you always do that for stupid reasons.

Now lets stop before it becomes a religion war thread.

The average atheist doesn't care what they are.  They just aren't religious, period.

It's the philosophical people and scientists that brown townyze every little detail and compare it to religion and then give reasons why their reasons are superior.

on another note i'm reasonably sure bisjac is a fan of Nietzsche.

I can't even tell if I count as a Christan,

I don't believe in that God just made the Earth appear, I believe in that it formed itself but with the help of God over millions of years, not 4 days.

And a few other things.

her clothes are way too revealing im glad your friend is offended this is horrifying

I think that's something like uniformitarian Christianity.

it's not pointless. people Google stuff up constantly when they hear or see something to get at least a vague understanding of how it makes sense scientifically.
not because they need proof of no god. but they want to understand the world they live in.

It's irresponsible and lazy to just say a word forget it. It works just because.
that kind of mind is easily drawn to religion. gives them a sense of closure without effort.

Agnostic: Live life and do stuff ( me in a nutshell)

i have almost no problem with religion but i hate the unethical and crybaby aspects of it
and of course if people rely on it too much and bring it up all the time
