So what's stopping anyone from sending false data?
What is allowing anyone to send false data? The Android app is the only one the could be tricked but I'm working on a safer way. And if it can't be stopped I'll keep the app for the Cloud administrators only.

a few servers that were different districts of one city so that way your stats are shared between them all.
I thought that this was the point of it? Like each server hosting it was as you said a district or town or city or what ever? :o

I'm going to love this topic

i prefer to have clouds that have a strong backbone, though a soft exterior.
I like to keep all my information in the cloud so no one can go inside it and check.
I think my cloud is fast and extracting information from external sources.

Obviously I can't stop that but I have a full view of data transfers and I can drop a server from using it If I see it happening. Remember that I choose who hosts.

Cool, I can beta test if you want, and I can also host 24/7 if you ever wish.

Please for the love of loving god, limit the amount of police and "crime"

Every CityRP I've seen has some stupid hip idea that everyone is a cop killing its citizens or thugs.
A good example is ATF-Clans's CityRP. You can't work without getting killed, you can build without getting killed.

Limits.

Getting your hands on anything significantly harmful should be nigh impossible, and even owning a gun without strict permission should be more than enough reason for players in the police job to arrest you.

What's the point of using a cloud for management of a CityRPG mod? If you're just doing the same stuff as everyone else it won't change the gameplay experience, which, in case you people still haven't caught on, is utterly terrible and has been since Iban packed his bags and thanked us for all the fish.

One of the best things he did was make it extremely hard to be a criminal. On top of that, he removed all those "Kim Kardashian" jobs where you get paid for existing. You had to do your "job" to get money, even if it was working in an office hitting paper repeatedly with a suspiciously shaped pen. And there were secure work environments; once you got to a high enough edu level, you got to work in a building that nobody can get into except your co-workers.

Now what we have is some kind of glorified city-build DM crap where people literally have their publicly visible job set as things like "Gangster" and, more recently, "Rapist". The standard of city building has got better, but that's mainly due to server owners treating the whole thing like some kind of "who can get the most chickens into the stuffhouse" competition.

I'm not ranting at you. I think CityRPG can be an incredibly good gamemode despite the stereotypes most people have about it. But please, change those old ideas. We're in a much bigger community with a much higher class of idiot. Don't let them get the upper hand, because it won't help you or the reputation of your mod.

Yeah this would be helpful, I stopped playing ATF's because I kept getting killed because of this. I'm not saying crime is bad, but the fact people are playing a CITYRPG just to kill is stupid.

Thank you for all the great suggestions. I will fix the gay ass crime and police system. Punishment for crime will be a lot more rough on criminals. Weapons will be very close to impossible to obtain just because of the mass killing sprees. I will also keep all the other suggestions in mind.

It would be cool if you could see a map of "cities", and travelling to them would make you join the server.
