you don't really ask a girl if they want to be your girlfriend
it just happens, you ask her out and if she likes you, and you like her, there you go- relationship
that didn't really happen but you guys seem to be doing well
anyways, condolences for you and her.

you don't really ask a girl if they want to be your girlfriend
you ask her out

There is 0 difference between the two things you're saying here

internet girlfriend? it actually exists?

i thought it was a joke going around. an insult. and its a real thing? i think i need to sit down

I'd say it's always the little things, like the random I love you or some thing *where you do this* or occasionally using a smile :) every once in a while.
Though everyone is different, find out what she likes best.

I just found out a cute girl who supposedly liked me has a bf

General tip for de-akwardizing relationships. Don't think of relationships as a BF-GF thing. Imagine your S/O as you Best friend.

More specific tip for this situation. Try and visit your S/O the most you can. In person. "Get well" cards are good however flowers would be better. Try to have more face to face conversations than text conversations. From experience I can tell you that a relationship that revolves around texting only becomes dull when interaction happens face to face. Anyways just being there with her could mean a lot. Stick with her though her sickness.

You seriously sent that?

that definitely sounds like the words of someone who uses the pro zone
