There are and some more painful alternatives: Jump in front of train, overdose on pills, jump off a bridge/tall building, purposely crash a car, fill their car up with carbon monoxide, ect. Take away one option then I will use another.
I mean more like taking the guns to play with them and then accidently shooting the brother and things like that.

Already a crime. They are supposed to be locked away unless in use. Also well disciplined gun owner teaches his kids that a gun is not a toy. You always assume its loaded, you treat them like they are loaded and not to running around pretending they are toys.

what point are you trying to make exactly?

Just informing him that only careless people would leave their guns out in/on a place where a kid could grab them. PC 25110; PC 25200 It can wobbler crime(misdemeanor/felony) to keep a concealable firearm in a place where child can access it easily(on a table, in a drawer, in a desk, ect) and that weapon is either loaded or unloaded and causes death or great bodily damage to him self or someone else. It can be a misdemeanor if the child causes injury that is not great.

It is also a misdemeanor if that firearm is taken off the premises loaded/unloaded.

So if you are a law abiding citizen, most likely your rifles and handguns will be locked in trunk or gun safe.

Not sure if neato or just a straight no. Of course, it could be used as self defence but if someone were to use the inteligun to rob from you and you get a hold on it, you're forgeted because you can't shoot his limbs to immobilize. Not sure what to say.

EDIT:

murders aren't too common, most crimes that occur everyday are embezzlement and petty theft, burglary, and the occasional mini-mart robbery.

Welcome to Argentina where people will kill you in an attempt to steal from you when they end up emptyhanded with a corpse. Do not underestimate the level of stupidity and crime in the world.

Well I talk about crime, I refer to the US.

Crime is everywhere and goods made in other countries end up here even though imports and exports are forbidden. Them forgeters just find ways to bring them in.

Yeah but I don't think I'd want the feature of the police being able to turn it off remotely. Leave that out and I'll be happy.
