Author Topic: RGB: War on Degenerates (updated and user-friendlier)  (Read 702 times)

The year is XXXX.

Three unions have lived amongst each other for centuries now.
Red, Green, Blue.
Assorted by political disposition and life goals, these three unions conflicted from time to time, but live in relative peace.
There are what you may call "special" people from these unions. Another reason for the separation. These "special" people have been bestowed abilities beyond imagination. These abilities are color-coded for some reason. The Reds, Greens, and Blues receive their powers in their respective colors.
Naturally, this caused uprisings and disputes, but noble ones have done their best to keep the peace.

While this is the basis for our story, it does not represent what the true problem is.

As of the year XXXX, creatures that can appropriately be referred to as "monsters" have been rising from unknown locations. Their very existence is unnatural and threatens the existence of the universe itself, as a direct result of the anomalous properties they hold.

It is the goal of the entirety of people as a whole to discover the origin of these "Degenerates" and abolish it.

And you're going to help(?)...

Current dorks playing:

Disposition: Red
Name: Main
Appearance: Male, red shirt, grey pants, peach skin, brown hair.
Description: He was born and raised on sky islands (skylands) and is of the red faction with red powers. gg

Character sheet: (recently enhanced updated)
Disposition: (red, green, blue)
Name: (i don't give a damn, you could be buttslam mcgee for all I care)
Appearance: (write about everything that describes your character's looks)
Description: (write about miscellaneous things that I might need to know when implementing your character)

Let's go over AP (Ability Points)

RGB powers are generic superpowers that are represented by the colors red, green, and blue.
They reach into different subcategories varying from

Equipment,
mobility,
melee,
range,
support, and
miscellaneous.

As your character progresses and wins battles, they will be given AP to spend on these six categories of powers. For example, after a battle, you will earn 10 AP. You can decide which of the six attributes you want to apply you points to.

A die will be rolled to determine the outcome of actions you do, and for every ten points devoted to an ability quality, you will receive a second roll of the die to either increase or decrease the effectiveness.

(these rules are subject to change, nothing is set in stone)

>Main notices the Robotech factory is smoking. It's never done that before. He'll be inspecting that.

>Main begins riding on his HUVr brand hoverboard towards the flyland sustaining the factory.

Post a filled out character sheet, wait until you're integrated, then input things you want to do.

If you wanted people to submit characters, it would be useful to have a character template.

If you wanted people to submit characters, it would be useful to have a character template.

There is one.

Not for the sprite.

You tell me what it looks like in the description section of the sheet, I draw it.

Unless you wanna draw your character. Totally okay with that.

Oh. I see.
Well, some people like to be lazy, so its always nice to have a template for lazy people.

Also some tips

1.

The land the guy is on is outlined, while nothing else is. If you are going to use outlines, make sure to use it on pretty much everything.

Also, if its far away, shade it a bit darker then everything else.
Because you never know, it could be really small.

2.
If you make the arms a bit longer, it makes it easier to do poses / movements
And a gap in the legs, so you aren't sliding around on concrete.

Example:

3.
Logos are cool

4.
If you aren't using it, use paint.net or gimp.
It lets you have layers, and transparent things.

But otherwise this looks neat.

Thanks for the tips.

Probably won't implement them, but I'm glad you care.

Implemented a title thing and changed some things.

holy shuckin' fit deja vu.

>As Main rode toward the flyland, he noticed unusual creatures around the building.
>Most notable was the large one on top. Was it the cause of the smoke?
