So as some of you may know, I have a galaxy s phone. Its a good-ish phone, but has the gayest glitches, randomly exiting out of apps, if you leave it on while its charging, and unplug it, it freezes. etc. I really want to switch to an iPhone, because Im familiar with ios, from having an ipod, but my dad hates all apple stuff, ALL of it. And its only because of his little handling of others and what his iT friends say about them...

TL;DR

how can I convince them to let me have an iPhone?

i use the galaxy 4 no issues. 5 comes out next month.

cant really have a smartphone thats more then 1-1,1/2 years old anymore. software updates slow the things down.
they always start out ultra fast lol

1- Sell Galaxy.
2- Buy iPhone.
3- Tell your dad.

I'm using an iPhone 1 with iOS 3.1.3 and it works like a charm.

yeah but iphones dont do much XD
what are they updating, the ui? lol

Yeah but I can't just put.the SIM card in it, and he prob wouldn't let me activate it

dude, just forget the warranty on it and install cyanogenmod.

it's gonna end up being better than touchwiz on that thing, anyways.

you can do way more with android rather than ios too.

Convinced my relative to convince my mom to buy me an iPhone for my birthday in April
Yea I hope she gets me one all the ROMs and kernels I've flashed on my phone have no luck in making it speedier or more battery life :/

why are people trying to hack phones that cant do things they want, into being like other phones that already can.
just get the correct hardware(with software) you need to begin with.
its cheaper to.

you guys brag like you took off 2 tires from a car, claiming you can now have a motorcycle.
looking like a tool because you STILL cant do what a cheaper, real motorcycle is already doing.

apple people are so silly lol. they will never learn

buy HTC One, I have no problem with it

It's true that Android generally has more functionality than iOS, but maybe OP doesn't need all that functionality? Maybe OP is just looking to call his friends / family and play some games, rather than buy some $300 hacking playground? If iOS has all he needs, he shouldn't have any issue with getting one.

Because of your situation, however, you're probably better off just getting a new Android phone for the time being. It seems like any phone would be better than the current one you own now, and iOS doesn't seem like an option for you. Complaining that you can't get an iPhone probably won't get you any closer to having one. Having a working phone is better than a glitchy mess of software and hardware.
