why are people trying to hack phones that cant do things they want, into being like other phones that already can.
just get the correct hardware(with software) you need to begin with.
its cheaper to.

Yes but talk about parents not listening. Friends haventold me iPhone has good battery life, BUT NO my parents INSIST on getting me android phones that have bad battery life, are glitchy, or etc.

Like damn I mean bad battery life, won't last for 6 hours atleast sat chool

Wait for the new HTC One. I have the first HTC One and it's the best phone I've ever had, and they can only move up from here.

Go for a Moto G if you don't have enough money for an iPhone or a top notch android phone, it has a great perfomance for it's price

Get a Nokia 3310. I didn't use it for 7 years and it still had battery when I sold it last year.. Not to mention that it should be cheap nowadays, but be careful when dropping it because you could start an earthquake.

for any smart phone. any OS's.
you need app and process managers.

i dont think i put my phone back into my pocket each time without first hitting the little clear memory/process icon first.

makes battery life last like 3 times as long. because all phone have tons of bullstuff they TRY and run in the background that you will never need.

make all your browsers/messengers/ background pics desktops whatever, black.
white needs more light, and eats battery like its the end of the world.

keep screen brightness on lowest setting. and remove that gay animated desktop background.

That's just how smartphones work in general. At most you'll be able to get 2 days worth of battery life, given that the phone sleeps in your pocket for the majority of the time, and you only occasionally pull it out to make a phone call, play a game, browse the web, etc.

More advanced technology requires more power. Having to charge your phone every day is going to be a given regardless of which phone you get, and you're better off just dealing with it. There are ways to extend your battery life, but the same principle still applies. However, if you can't even get more than an hour out of your phone or similar, you should probably call for support.

as far as im concerned the galaxy s1 series was probably the most optimized phones on the market. then they started stuffting out bloated and slow versions.

get a custom rom
and yes i know, its a tedious hunt to find that one perfect rom. ive been through 10 roms so far until i found one that has the best battery life and less glitches. i want to rip my nostril hair out at how many handicaps release down right broken roms for a lot of phones or have no idea how their own roms function.

he hates Iphones?
idontblamehim

rather than buy some $300 hacking playground
implying the iphones aren't $300 fisher price toys

seriously just get like a galaxy s4 or wait for an s5 and get custom roms.
hell they're fast anyway for like the first year even with stock rom assuming you're not handicapped and don't load it up with a stuffload of apps and don't force disable all the stock apps

implying the iphones aren't $300 fisher price toys
"Fisher Price toys" they may be, that doesn't mean they aren't legitimate products with a userbase that fits them well. Not everyone needs every bit of functionality out of their devices.

if you're on an original galaxy s then yeah, it's going to loving suck because it's almost 4 years old

you also have to factor the price of an iphone on-contract is much, much higher than what they're paying now and even off-contract it will run them about $500+ up front for a new one, 250-300 for an iphone 4

that verizon "edge" stuff they been doing for like 5 months now. you can just have a brand new modern phone for like 50 bucks a month on your bill. (resets your plan to a 2 year everytime you start a new one)

it basically solved the waiting out your contract to upgrade problems to as you can just make that single payment of 100 bucks and trade in phones for a new one lol.
