I got the Samsung Galaxy for Android not for the functionality, but because I can do things like customize it easily and download music without having to hook up my computer to my phone.

I don't see why you wouldn't want a Galaxy. But it's up to you. Just get a new Android phone, it's probably better than what you got. Just threaten to kill urself if it goes so far.

Why in God's name do you want an iPhone?
If all you are looking for in a phone is talking and using it as a loving PHONE then why don't you just get any unexpensive thing out there?
Why the forget get a $400 Facebook machine? What is wrong with you and pretty much everyone out there? I feel like punching everyone in the subway when I see them use their iPhones to go on Facebook. Everyone, FB here FB there. Messaging here messaging there. Jesus Christ just no. Just get a Samsung Galaxy Mini and call it a day. Additionally I have no idea what is your problem with a S3 as it's a good enough phone for what you need. Infact even a S Plus would've sufficed.

Or even more, something like a Nokia "hacker" slide phone which comes with a keyboard, if that's what you are looking for. Or just one of those normal keyboard-like phones similar to Blackberry.

So as some of you may know, I have a galaxy s phone. Its a good-ish phone, but has the gayest glitches, randomly exiting out of apps, if you leave it on while its charging, and unplug it, it freezes. etc. I really want to switch to an iPhone, because Im familiar with ios, from having an ipod, but my dad hates all apple stuff, ALL of it. And its only because of his little handling of others and what his iT friends say about them...
