I can't give it more colour while it's like this. If I make it a new colour for each row I run out of greens much too fast. Trust me, it looks a lot better with trees and shadows in order to understand your elevation.

The problem is there's no elevation change. The land just goes up at a gradual incline from the water.
If we want to make the inclines steeper, we will. This is just a mostly flat island I made as an example.

The playertypes are 10% bigger than normal, so you can walk along it comfortably, and go up the steps.
Or you could just make a new playertype that's not bigger, but can still walk up the steps.

I did something similar like this with 4x4 cubes. It turned out okay, but for vehicles it was stuff.

Keep in mind everything was 4x4. Houses. Buildings. Rocks walls bases ect.

It looks interesting.

I like it.

That is pretty cool and does have some great potential uses in canyon-style builds

I might upload new photos. It looks better with things like rocks and trees added in, because it gives you a better scale of proportion, which is a bit confusing due to all the blank faces.

Looks really nice though I wouldn't use it as it doesn't really fit in.

it looks fine, but there's no need to emulate the game style you're copying exactly

just add slants.

I think it looks Unique

Pretty cool.

Here's a photo of the updated colorset. I'll post it here if anyone wants it.

NEW PHOTOS:

I think it looks a lot better now that it has new colours, more layers, and objects so you understand the size more. It's much easier to navigate in-game.

I made a house in the style of Godus.
