Help with a Forum Tpic ive been wanting to do.

Ive been wanting to do a type of topic where the people's comments influence the story. I tried it but it never seemed to take off...Idk whats wrong with it...I just wanted to do it so I wouldn't be so bored. Idk if this belongs in this topic but I could use some advice why this kind of stuff don't work or any way I could do it or something.

usually you have to give a base off to start with or something , just try to start it and let the people of the forums do the rest.

Well I did, I gave a nice little starting way, person graduating from cadet school, becoming a commander. getting his first ship, that's where I left it off. But nobody continued it from there. Idk wtf was wrong with it. Ive seen another one with hardly the level of development. and it got FAR...Mine didn't even get off the front porch
