Yesterday I went to Guitar Center and picked up this lovely Vox AC15. The sound is great. The cleans are very articulate and very similar to a Fender clean sound, but the driven sound is more British and compressed and is much better than a twangy Fender drive. It's also not too bassy and will let me cut through better because of the high end response it provides.

I messed around with this cab on Pod Farm II a few times actually I think, the simulation sounded pretty great so I imagine this must sound pretty killer. I'm still too in love with digital tones to shy away from Line 6 as far as amping goes though.

I end up using a lot of digital amplifiers too. My main beef with them is that they aren't as touch sensitive or dynamic. I like being able to roll my guitar volume to 8 and have a decent rhythm sound and then turn it to 10 for a lead.

Nonetheless they do have their place, I just like tubes better (also glowing tubes look really cool).

How many tube amps do you have? or just amps in general.

This is my first tube amp. Before this I had a Fender Mustang and a Fender Frontman 100. I sold the Frontman and a faulty connection on the Mustang rendered it useless (wasn't worth repairing). I also have a Peavey Headliner 600 watt bass amp running into a USA Ampeg 1x15 cab, but that is solid state because tube bass amps weigh about 100 pounds.
