SoundHelix:
Basically, RNGesus music.
Here are some examples of SoundHelix being a badass. If you happen to get some eargasmic music generated in your favor by the program, feel free to share it (somehow)
Also, here's a little bit of instruction from yours truly.
You can get use commands in the console to alter the music to your will! Simply type "help" in the console to receive a list of commands you can fiddle with.
When you get the program, you can edit the run.bat file and where it says "soundhelix-piano.xml", you can change that to the file name of what is in the "examples" file. This essentially changes how it randomly generates music and what it randomly generates it with.
I'll see if I can find things more .xml files that will work with it.It seems like the .xml files that create coordinate the generation of music have to be custom-made, so at the moment, there are only the three that come with the program. Hmmm.
PROTIP:
You can get the same song every time if you put " -s *insertnamehere* " before "examples/*.xml"
If the program randomly generates a song, and you're able to find its seed number/song name (found in the log after the program closes), you can put that number in there and listen to it as many times as you want. Fun!
Fake Music Generator:
"Free computer generated music! The Fake Music Generator provides free computer generated albums that you can use in any way you want. We give you an entire album: cover art, artist, album title, track titles, and even computer generated music."Do not hesitate to share albums that the FMG makes for you.
This one seems to be in favor of using the piano in its songs, but it also generates music with other instruments.
