Hello there with a quick question to those who have experience gauging these things.

My GPUs performance has begun to decay. I'm experiencing more frequent video based crashes and its becoming annoying. I need to replace it.

Here is the card I am using.

here is more information

I only need to replace the GPU within these parameters. The card also needs to outperform better than the one i currently have. Any suggestions?

what's your budget?

Also video or game crashing isn't caused by the gpu just being a weak older model.
more likely your ram could have gone stuff. run a memtest.

Alright will do. I'm confident its the GPU though.

Budget has no cap on it.

a better card would help you game nicer that's true. But crashing isn't usually what outdated models do when they suck. they usually just have low frame rates.

well a good high-end card is the GTX 770 for around 350, and really high-end is the GTX 780 at 500

if you want the best GPU on the market right now, go for the GTX 780 Ti for 700

So how do i test my memory.

ok so might as well get this out of the way

The crashes i can describe as occurring most often when i'm playing a video online. But sometimes it happens when i'm gaming.

But if i'm gaming my PC generally avoids the crashes. The only way i can keep the infernal machine happy is through eternal gaming. If i so much as risk watching a youtube video, the whole PC fumble-forgets and the screen screws up. The screen often shows multiple stripes of the last color i saw on the screen. (like game grumps orange).

I'm not sure if its the video card anymore because you said it could be memory. So i'm trying to get this mem test to work so i can find out.
