I don't think matte would look good on this car. It wouldn't really look intentional, because it's an older car.

I feel like everyone goes with dull reds and blues in terms of color. Neutral colors don't count.

Be unique and edgy. Go for a moderately bright jade color (in such a way it's not garishly neon or so dark it's like the others), or perhaps indigo!
