I think you should tell the school that you don't agree with what they're doing. Keylogging is super illegal. I did some research, and Securus has barely any information about what it can do. I'm emailing the company to see if I can learn more about it. The software is kinda sketchy.

Key loggers are not illegal you knob sockets. Key loggers can be compared to torrent software, they can be used for illegal things but they aren't illegal on their own. Logging keystrokes is not illegal but logging passwords and using them is. Do some research before you spout random stuff.

My computer is connected through a VPN 90% of the time. I currently use Mullvad and can max my connection. They have a free 24 hour account, all you do is download and run it. No need to register.

This is seriously not okay.

Take some action against this, seriously. It's a huge invasion of privacy and I'm not kidding when I say that you could actually sue them for this and have a decent chance of winning.

At the very least refuse to use it unless they take off the "security" software.
