Again, if they weren't keylogging or webcam spying I wouldn't have that much of an issue with it but what they're doing is so over the top invasive. Things like being able to look through the files and look at the content on the screen is fine, that's what they gotta do, but again, over the top invasive stuff they're choosing to do.

I think it would be illegal if the webcam was used to monitor you, and even then you'd need proof. If they called you out on something you did in your home, they could get in trouble since that'd be your proof. If memory serves, this has happened in the past and they did get in trouble for it. Everything else is meh because as you've said, it's their property, they choose what you do on it.
