Not able to change forum avatar

Help. Whenever I try to change my avatar it doesn't upload it.

Before you ask, I have tried this on more than one computer and none of them worked.

Avatar is too big then,
resize it to 75x75 or less

Changing the image format to something like a .gif or .jpeg can solve this.
If that doesn't work, then your avatar will most likely change after a few days or weeks.

Never did for me fyi, just gave me no error message and basically refreshed the page.

perhaps it did, but it has nothing to do with the resolution of the image

I know I'm supposed to be helping, but I just want to have this answered.

Does clearing your cache work?
I've heard that only you can see the new avatar if you do this, but others say it fixes it.

btw, it mentioned incognito mode cus I had to clear the cache another time recently

forgot to add, I would suggest choosing "all time" instead of "the past day" on that last menu
