That's irrelevant to the point I was making and in the bloody link I posted it literally says it's a modified AR-15. Also the M4A1 is a modification of the M4 Carbine.
well i got your point but that statement just stuck out
the article just says that it's based on the AR-15 platform.
the way you said it made it sound every AAC PDW is made from an existing AR-15 rather than a design just based on it
because then you could have said that the Remington R5 is just a modified AR-15 too
