I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that hammereditor is going to get banned again. Obviously I could ban him for no reason, but what I mean is that at some point he will leave me no choice.
The warning signs:
1. History of being banned - Most people don't change.
2. Associates closely with banned user - Pacnet is going to be whining about Blockland to him constantly, poisoning his mind.
3. Can't follow a forum conversation - At least twice in this thread he couldn't tell who people were talking to. This is a big one that I've seen play out several times. Most habitual problem users suffer from poor reading comprehension which leads to them getting in needless arguments over misunderstandings.
4. Talks frequently about how his past bad behavior is behind him. People who obsess over their past are not over it. I'm going to dub this clean slate syndrome - people who are obsessed with starting over never get anywhere.
Pacnet actually claimed that he hates Hammereditor because his dad allegedly likes Hammer better and gives him hundreds of bucks a month to run his hosting service and pac doesn't get anything but a bunch of swearing.
I'm wondering how many of our regular problem users come from messed up families. Fools beget fools. Not saying I really believe that Pacnet is telling the whole story but still.
Also it seems that Pacnet is going on to associate with Kalphiter or something. During our conversation he said he learned to "keep agitating people" by making handicapped inflammatory posts on reddit and stuff... from Kalphiter. Well, he said that Kalphiter taught him. Not sure exactly what was meant by that. I still don't get how he keeps stirring the stuff pool and seems surprised when he gets soaked.
Right, just thinking about it here - pacnet has what he thinks is this nice clean slate, then someone marks it by bringing up his previous actions, so pacnet flips his stuff because his slate is now ruined in his eyes.
I think part of his flipping stuff deal is that people keep assuming he and hammer are the same person. I know if everyone assumed me and my bro were the same person, I'd eventually get pretty pissed too (he hangs out on the wrong servers). He never uses his forum accounts though, so...
Of course, since nobody believed them that hammer was his bro after his first (fake) brother deal on the forums, i guess it might still fall under that category. I will agree that he obsesses about his past; when we were talking and he was complaining about his, ahem, mistreatment, he linked me to a post from 2010.
