The roof still needs more depth

Wow dude! I'm really proud of you! This is fantastic, and you're doing such an excellent job on it!

Off topic for a second: Heh, I remember that was an option for the Vortex if the Subaru didn't win

I think, I will help you spread your add-on, when it has released. It pretty decent, anyway you still need polish it for great work in-game

Great, my spring break started, I'm not going to school whole next week. (And yeah I go to school on Saturday usually) Just going to take a small nap or something and I'll be back modeling!

Yeah, I noticed you say it in 3d model topic and did some small unnoticable changes. Looking back at it, yeah, seems like I need to bump it out a bit more.

Thanks, and yeah, I voted for Marussia B2 back then, but it seems like people want subaru more around here :P

I guess you can call this side done. Going to work on the driver's seat now...
1 thing though, how do you use HandsOnVehicles again? Put the .cs file into the .zip file, add hands to the model, animate the hands and the steering wheel, but what's after that? What name should be given to the hands so they would dissapear when leaving the vehicle and what material should they use?

Make sure to not forget the hooks too, call the left ones lhand and lhook, and the right ones rhand and rhook

holy what

Thanks Filipe, that worked! The only issue is the fact that DTS exporter for 3ds max doesn't allow any objects without numbers at the end (AKA it will crash with rhand, but wont with rhand32. Yes, the object is bound to detail32). In fact, the whole hierarchy of dummys/meshes is different from blender and milkshape. So yeah, I had to edit the script to change node's name. It worked in the end though.

I know that, I just gave you the name you need to use

Okay, did the steering wheel which also rotates with the wheels. (Yeah I spent a lot of time figuring out how to export animations). Yes, it is re-colorable.

adding these would be great

I'm loving the new smooth aspect of Turtorn's and Night Hawk's cars. Smooth fits cars really well.
We need more smooth shaded everything.

I see no sign of "russia" anywhere :c

The manufacturer, which is Marussia Motors, is situated in Moscow, and Marussia B1 and B2 are first russian supercars. That's pretty much the only Russian thing about it.

Will this work? Can't model anything better for some reason.

I've been trying to fix non-steering issue, I established that for some reason there's a lot of drag added on export. Dividing drag in the .cs file by 100 allows the car to rotate better (So the drag is about 0.045), but that's not going to work especially as the car slides because of it. I'll try to play around with bounds...

Aaand I fixed it! The issue was in bounds.

And now, I present to you, a heavily tuned variant of Marussia! It will be balanced to be about the same speed as Night_Hawk's Bolt, while the standart variant is a bit faster than Hyperion by Filipe.

I'll probably re-do some parts of the body for a tuned version, but what do you think of the current tuned variant?
