Author Topic: question: do you excessively hit the preview button before posting?  (Read 798 times)

I always do this a lot, just to make sure my posts look good, work, or require changes. I can't stop doing this, but I think it's a good idea just to make sure nothing looks bad before posting.

Do you do the exact same thing?

nothing wrong with trying to make your post look good

I do it before posting any thread or if I'm posting an image or links just to make sure I didn't leave out any characters or tags or anything.

nope

i just post right away

Yes, to make sure what I have written makes sense, and to see that it looks alright, and clear up any spelling mistakes (although that doesn't always work).

And if I'm on a mobile device I definitely have to in order to make sure it hasn't auto-corrected words incorrectly, or that my fat fingers haven't just made a mash of letters.

And I always have to have a check on what other people have written if I get a warning that others have posted, since I was banned before for not doing that.

Only when I'm making really big posts with lots of BBCode. Otherwise I can just skim it over for errors.

Sometimes I press preview a couple times, sometimes not at all.

Depends on how long the post is. If I know I can ninja-edit something, I usually skip previewing.

Maybe if I'm making a long post or if I am using a good amount if BBC.

Im too flwaless to do htat
