Author Topic: BL Weapon Modeling Problems  (Read 532 times)

So, I've made a weapon model for a gun. I tried to use some default coding, that didn't work, so I moved the Milkshape model and other needed things to another BL Forum Member's DL for a gun base trait folder thing that is basically an alternative to coding the whole thing itself, as I don't understand crap about coding. Anyways, after following every instruction, the thing just didn't appear. I'll upload some images here:

The model

The ZIP file name

The file contents

So, this is about all I can do to provide information. If anyone can assist, please do. Oh, and about that guy's topic? The link is here:

So yeah. You can test the contents of the file to see what I've done wrong, as I have no idea. The file's link is here:

And the images don't work. Crap.

I'm bad at this, I genuinely don't know. XD
I basically assumed that was it, so yeah. I would have asked, but, you know, not trying to spam my own frickin' post. So, I'll just add links to this.
Links to the pictures because I'm terrible at the BL forums:

Every image

use this server.cs instead. I've fixed all errors for you.

on a side note, make sure you place all of your color files that are on the gun (if you have a material named "brown" place brown.png into your file.) it just needs to be a 16x16 square in paint filled with brown. also, rename your model to "heavyGun.dts". Make sure when exporting that all of your groups have a LOD of 0.
