Author Topic: What is the point of an overpriced "gaming" mouse  (Read 5520 times)

Does it make phone calls too? It looks like a phone booth with those dial buttons on the side.
I believe you can config it so it can do a Voip call or something.

I have a mouse. It lets me click on things. It doesn't have any extra buttons I'd never use. It's not a loving flashlight, nor does it run on a battery that you have to replace constantly. I could buy roughly 40 of them instead of buying one mouse that is atrocious.

Like stocking said, I can only see someone really use these mice if they're into competitive games like Dota 2, League of Legends, etc.

although for people like me who just pay casual games and fps games, a normal 2 button+scrollwheel mouse is enough for me

it's all crusty for some reason and i don't know why
i think my hand flesh attaches to it
This is the same thing that happens to me.
I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT.

From what I know, if a gaming peripheral has no immediate function, it's a gimmick. You know, like those stupid gaming glasses.

IKR! It happens on my keyboard as well, it's quite annoying. :c

I prefer soldering wires to my usb port and pushing them together.

thats what i use
my cousin has a weird transformer one but i tried it and eh

I like how it stills uses wires.

wireless mouses drain battery fast for me

the weights would just be used to change the weight of the mouse to suit whatever you're most comfortable with

making something designed for responsiveness wireless would be counterproductive

I don't like wireless mice because I have to replace the battery, and often it will die in the middle of gaming.

Not only do wireless mice die a lot faster tan keyboards (and aren't usually rechargable on the fly) they are slightly unresponsive compared to a wired mouse.

It doesnt really get in the way, though wireless could be nice sometimes.

I bought this mouse 5 years ago for €15 and it was definitely worth it. A simple mouse but when you're on the computer for a while, having a comfortable thing to hold that isn't your snake is a real benefit.
