Author Topic: What will replace RTB?  (Read 2001 times)

Is there something like RTB or are people working on one or no? I need to find one (And don't say steam)! I cant stand not being able to communicate better. Help me!

Nothing unless they are still working on that bam thing.

:(

Wasn't tetronaught and some other guys working on a chat system that was simple?

They were working on it, but I haven't heard anything about it for quite a while now.

My money is on nothing ever replacing RTB. The discussions committed to the "BAM meta" repository demonstrate that the majority of people behind it are clowns and regurgitate words they read on blogs. The thought of Lugnut being the "netsec" guy makes me laugh.

Quote
10:27 AM - Lugnut: Might be a good idea - you control all the primary servers, an attacker trying to compromise the logs would have to figure out who the hell has them
10:27 AM - Lugnut: I guess running netstat would give me up pretty quickly

lmao

Badspot integrating workshop is the only viable future for addon management IMO, I hope he does it.

I still am, I just need someone to make a server side code for the chat/friends system.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
