I did a mockup of the idea for a tattoo I've had for a while. Its a symbol from a band used in one of their albums (it has no context or meaning disclosed so whatever). It would just signify the music side of my life, but small and discreetly.

i don't understand using "wannabe" as an insult. basically what you're insulting is the fact that they look up to someone as a role model? congrats? i also feel like it's almost as overused as "autistic" is these days but whatever.

I didn't quite intend for it to be used as an insult but I can see how you might read it as me using it as one. Either way, I'm simply saying people who wear sleeves are dumb people who are looking up to even dumber people.

While there are a few exceptions, generally it's just another form of generic attention whoring.

I remember once seeing a short about a woman who got a tattoo to cover up the scars she got from breast cancer surgery

I've literally seen no one do that. Every person I've talked to who's gotten tattoos have gotten something that means a lot to them. It usually has something to do with family, or something important in their life. And most of them are in areas covered by clothing.
