wrap i have more, game maker just isn't allowing me to use them

im pretty sure he is aware of that

neat, here are a few bugs i noticed
music ends right as you start playing, dunno how to solve that
you can still attack when your holding onto a ledge?
you could solve that by adding a sprite of a char swinging while on a ledge or something
if you jump while holding down d and then press a, or vice-versa, it breaks the animation.
also the background is unfitting, but it might be temporary?
otherwise it was nice, better then what I could do.
hope you end up finishing the game

It seems like the character shrinks a tiny bit when he starts running.

idk what you were expecting, that was made in game maker (lame maker)
i'm going to use the game engine ive been working on for a while, still needs some gui api work then i can go ahead and start making it.

idk why you're saying GM is a lame engine, when plenty of decent or if not great games have been made using it

games such as Hyper Light Drifter, Nuclear Throne, Samurai Gunn, and Nidhogg were all made in Game Maker Studio

there are also plenty of other great games that were made using the older versions of Game Maker, like super crate box, the iconoclasts, and Momodora I and II

just sayin the engine is underrated and I think you should continue using it rather than using some barebone language for such a simple and pointless game
