Author Topic: do you use remote desktop?  (Read 1082 times)

it's pretty neat i guess

No but I SSH into my server if that can count

I use Windows remote desktop and Teamviewer for, on average, one hour a day. Combined.

I use Teamviewer/Jumi Mouse to bypass Fortiguard.

I use a desk ontop of my floor.

Occasionally when I need something from my other computer.

i used remote desktop for my server hosting computer when i was doing that using VNC because i couldn't be bothered to write a server script thing for it

what's remote desktop

I would do it if I knew how to

Yeah I bought an app that let me view my desktop from my iPad before.

Sorry for the bump, but I'm pretty interested in this.
So, for example, I want to access my home computer through this laptop that I bring to school.
Is this possible? On my computer, I have a program "Remote Desktop Connection" that might work.
The only thing I'm worried about is school internet blocks, do you think it'll interfere with the remote access thing?

I doubt it. Use Teamviewer for your lappy or Jumi Mouse for your iOS.

Try using TeamViewer. It's a possibility it might be blocked, though.

I just set it up in case i wanted to mine dogecoins when i was away form my house.
