Buddy, tell them that they just wasted a lot of money.

chevrolet suburban 1998 the way to go

Neither of those junk heaps are worth the steel they're made out of. You want a 1992 Geo Metro convertible buddy, best car in the states. American through and through but with the style and economy of an import.

"According to the revised formula, however, that 1990 Metro should actually manage only 33 mpg -- 13 below the Prius.  That's not nearly as impressive.  In fact, it's nearly the same rating as many current small cars.  Considering that the 1992 Metro features only one airbag and earned a 'safety concern' from the federal government even by the standards of sixteen years ago, you should probably think long and hard before paying thousands of dollars for one."

You're driving a deathtrap.

Anyone who pays thousands of dollars on a Geo Metro doesn't know how to car shop.

The price isn't the point. The safety on that car is stuff and many cars today have the same or better mileage--plus better safety features--than it.

stuff kid, a single article? At least bring more to the table if ur gonna beef. There's plenty of people who will attest to getting mileage closer to the original formula's rating. No stuff, it's less safe than your wet dream Detroit-mobiles that look like CAD-barf. I'm lookin' for a hot motor that's reasonable in price, not a protective bubble.
You socially challenged kids sure are sensationalists...
