So im abought to dual boot Windows 8.1 pro and Mac. But i'm not positive if my computer will be able to run it. I dont want to waste 20$ on something i cant do.

IIRC, only Macs can have Mac OSs.

unless you're talking about their terms & conditions, which i doubt.

Out of curiosity, why dual boot when you can do pretty much everything you'd need to do on Windows? I would either pick one or the other, but I feel like managing and switching between both is a waste of time and hard drive space.

Some people prefer the look and feel of the OS.

Although I am not big into the "Hackintosh" stuff, that should work fine.
Lion should go. Don't count on Mavericks though; my computer does Lion, but no further.

Yes, so just go with Mac and stay with it (of course, using a device that can actually support it). I personally feel like the cons of dual booting outweigh the pros.

I prefer both, and mac has some advantages over windows in software.
And windows has advantages in compatibility in games. some games only run on Windows not mac.  I also just want a new look :P

I'm not sure OS X can run on AMD CPU's nor the GPU you have but apart from that for sure.

If you're looking for a new look, there are styles available to make Windows have the look and feel of OS X, maybe even better. Plus, there are Windows ports of Mac-only software.

This is what I'm worried about. The processor. Im almost positive that the gpu can since it is nividia. But the AMD processor..hmm

Yeah but I don't remember if iMacs use dedicated GPU's. I know they use the 600M series but thats a mobile GPU. Not a full dedicated GPU.
