Anatomically, humans are better fitted to be herbivores. According to theories, during the ice age, humans began hunting and evolution turned us into omnivores. We lost the bacteria that could degrade cellulose. But we can't live off of only meat. We need vitamins and minerals which can be found in a) plants or b) livers of other animals. But cooking meat destroys them. And it's risky to eat raw meat unless it's a recent kill but then again, oral-brown town diseases could come in our organism.
