I hope everything is ok for you, XR. Have any of you been through a tornado before? If so, what was it like? (PS: I have never been through one).
I've actually never seen one yet, but I've had many close calls. It's a requirement before I die that I must see one.
The closest was on December 31, 2010. About 15 tornadoes passed within 50 miles of my house. One person was killed when a EF3 ripped through a suburb that I regularly drive through about 20 miles north (Sunset Hills, MO). The close one was an EF0 which passed my house by less than one mile. It only knocked some weak trees down and didn't even knock down any power poles though. This was also the first outbreak that I ever predicted from only my own readings, and I did so five days ahead of time.
I've been through 2 tornado warnings where I have lived, 1 when I was before 5 years old I think and 1 last year.
I've probably been through more than 200 lol
