Author Topic: First ground zero storm outbreak for STL 2014 [The big one is coming]  (Read 3532 times)

Not sure how anything can get worse. My road is gone from the flash flooding so the bus had to take me back to school. School ended more than 90 minutes ago.

oh my. That sucks. :/

*Party* Lucky I don't live there or anywhere near the serve weather area! :D I feel sorry for the lives out there, my hand goes out to you.

I live outside the serve weather zone, it is snowing or raining ice earlier, not hail thought. I was at Track after school, and now the sun is shining where I live!

My mom had to come pick me up. By then, it had stopped raining and the water went down. Out of curiosity, we drove back over there. The road was grayish black from dirt across it, pastures were covered in dead plant matter, fences were uprooted by the swath that brimmed out of the creek bed, etc. Its a huge mess.

winter storm yona is coming!! :(

Don't be lured into a false sense of security. There's more coming.

Update: the supercells mentioned earlier seem to have fused into yet another squall (still tornadic, as Maxx's post shows). I am uncertain if that will be the end of the storms though.

It seems there is a tornado heading straight through Saint Louis about 10 miles from where I live
