Because Stealing Ideas from Garry's Mod is Okay
For those of you who don't know, the
Half-Life 2 Role Play mod for Garry's mod. Its goal was to achieve a replica similar to that of the aftermath of the Combine takeover in the plot of Half Life 2. It contains features relative to that of what was seen from City 17. While it has an overall positive feedback from the community, life as a citizen can be harsh, and abusive admins aren't overly criticized.
While I do have the basic layout for what will be expected in the fully released map (I would already open it in a beta map if the Slayer add-on wouldn't screw up), I have a few ideas that could contrast the advanced gameplay experience from the Garry's Mod version; however, a decent amount of time will be put to building, leaving balancing issues as an afterthought.
Here are a few features that will be positively implemented:
- A huuuuuuge nexus (citadel)
- A huuuuuuge city (not repetitive at all)
- A hunger system to make sure you're active; Don't miss out on too many rations!
- Microsoft Sam plays the role of an announcer, giving final orders for judgement waivers.
- Classes and ranks for every gameplay style: Civilian to Loyalist, Rebel to Anticitizen, CP to Soldier, etc.
- Optimized file download, only the add-ons the build needs; No *click click click click* ok i haz adawn nao :))
