I wasn't aware politics was ever about that
when we were still the 13 original states, yeah
once the south started getting all defensive about slaves is when it started to change, id say

i even said this was a completly different issue but w/e, ill roll with it
they have love and accidently have a kid causing them to be even more poor
maybe if they paid people a decent wage this wouldn't be an issue
uhh minimum wage (in its current form) is not designed to support a family.  It's designed to get people experience in the job world so that they won't try to start off out of high school trying to make 40-50 grand a year.

Lets blame the south for everything then gee

The civil war was more than just a slavery issue

I take it you're going to be a political science major when you grow up?

yeah and job market lets them do that, too!!
while i agree having a kid while making minimum wage is dumb thats not always the case, stuff happens
I take it you're going to be a political science major when you grow up?
no
i really hope you arent defending slavery either lol

well "officially" it was about states rights but slavery was the final nail in the coffin

I'm arguing about the concept in general, not this specific situation
I literally answered this immediately after. You should try reading sometimes, it's a skill that'll help you out in life

Yeah but there's no proof that he is marketing (or will market) against the gay community with the use of Mozilla resources

Its an empty fear if anything

no
i really hope you arent defending slavery either
u wot mate

Yeah but there's no proof that he is marketing (or will market) against the gay community with the use of Mozilla resources
well no, but it kinda makes the whole company look bad when the ceo does something like that
u wot mate
??

as if a couple is going to have love or not based off whether they have a condom
so what you're saying is, if you choose to allow yourself to get pregnant, your insurance company should have to pay for the abortion?

well no, but it kinda makes the whole company look bad when the ceo does something like that??

He wasn't CEO nor in a significant position of power when he made that donation

In a recent blog post, Eich reiterated his commitment to making Mozilla an inclusive LGBT friendly workplace but did not say he regretted his 2008 donation or otherwise speak to his personal politics.

Yeah watch out guys Mozilla is literally Riddler for gay people now

He wasn't CEO nor in a significant position of power when he made that donation
nor does it matter
in the end he resigned out of the good of the company
even if it is dumb to base the entire company off his beliefs
so what you're saying is, if you choose to allow yourself to get pregnant, your insurance company should have to pay for the abortion?
so what you're saying is, if you choose to allow yourself to get into a car, your insurance company should have to pay for your hospital charges when you get in accident?

see how dumb that sounds?

why is it any news about something related to loveual Preferences the forums just spirals into a argument stuffstorm?

if you choose to allow yourself to get into a car, your insurance company should have to pay for your hospital charges when you get in accident?

see how dumb that sounds?

A car is necessary for many life and business functions, its a false brown townogy if you look at it. Getting pregnant isn't necessary for the company to function. This is almost the same as the guns and cars comparison

Once you get up there in the higher rungs of the corporate ladder it's not really as easy as saying "he works here, if he donates something its directly because of this company" Many CEOs may have multiple posts, or make money on investments, to actually say supporting the company means you are also advancing his political agenda, even by just a little, is misinformed.
I doubt anyone sorts all their income by sorts and spends it differently based on where it came from.

Also, just as a heads up, I don't care about this issue. I've used, and still use, Firefox since the first day I found it. I don't care about boycotting other companies, because the proportion of my money that goes into donations isn't worth the amount of time that it would take to research what company executives donate where, and to remember a list of companies to not buy from. All I'm saying is that if someone else wants to they have the right to do that

Yeah but there's no proof that he is marketing (or will market) against the gay community with the use of Mozilla resources

love is just as integrated into lives as cars
same with guns, actaully
