Left clicking keeps opening new tabs?

I'm on a school computer and for some reason whenever I left click stuff, instead of directing it normally it opens a new tab
It only started doing this now

It also does random stuff when I try to type anything (im using the computer next to it to type this)
What the hell is happening

Maybe someone messed up one of the Ctrl keys? Try switching to another keyboard.

The jack of my laptop's charger was on the left ctrl key I feel so stupid
