yes

I already do every day lol

this
stuffty specs here:
intel pentium 4 650 from ~2004
2 gb dual channel ddr2 @ 266mhz
dell 0hh807 motherboard
geforce 610 (probably the best thing in this computer lol)
500 gb (466gb after conversion from SI units) HDD

This runs blockland much better than you think (unless you tried supersoft shaders which only work for screenshots since they lag for like 2-3 seconds-obviously unplayable unless you used timescale .2/etc.; and obviously I wouldn't even try blockoseattle/any megabuild) Basically graphic wise it's OK.
Also, I can somewhat fly planes OK on flightgear even with 3D clouds and light scattering, pretty sure any real shaders kills the already low frame rate which is ~8 fps or so.

I used to have a computer with similar specs. It ran Crysis 2 at a playable Framerate

I actually hosted a Blockland server on a 1.2 GHz Celeron III with 768 megs of RAM for a while. It worked pretty well considering the hardware (until you duplicated something). I also managed to get RTB 1.045 to run on a 400 MHz Pentium II with 512 Mb RAM and an on-board Rage Pro Turbo, emphasis on "run". With a Voodoo 3 and a 12% overclock it was sort of playable.
I'll see if I can get BL running on Windows 98, but it'll be quite difficult since it requires XP-specific functions. I got the updater to run by using KernelEx, but the game itself just crashed back to the desktop.

I thought Badspot dropped PowerPC support.

I thought Badspot dropped PowerPC support.
He did due to Steam, but older versions will still run on it.

That's sad to hear.

Anyone else wanna try Windows 98 before anyone does XP?
