Blockland key won't work.

I have the game on steam from the key converter, so my question is: Does the key become invalid when you do that?
I need to know so I can set up a dedicated server

If you bought it via the blockland site you can just use a non-steam blockland executable.
I'm sure you can set up a dedicated server with that.

I don't know why but I have put in the key a few times and it keeps saying "invalid" I'm try this from a password book and not the email.
