A castle is an abstract idea that pretty much everyone takes an artistic license out on. Same deal with houses, people aren't all building the same house at varying levels of detail. But, if somebody spent a few years working on a scale replica of the Windsor Castle and then somebody else popped out of nowhere and started building a stuffty version of the Windsor Castle because of their discontented attitude towards the amount of time the first builders were taking, I'd defend them too.
If OP wants to build a boat, have at it. I just don't support the building of the Titanic for the sole reason of Bones taking too long.
