the point of my post is to explain the fact that throwing a sorry in your post does not make the sorry apologetic, and it does not change whether or not you are disliked.

How the hell does it anger you people so much that people are bumping threads? There is even a Chrome extension that allows you to put in a script that entirely hides threads. I mean, I know it's generally against the rules to bump threads for no reasons, but there is no reason to get this upset.
