Author Topic: Constant Problem: Authentication Failure.  (Read 2322 times)

I'm having a very constant problem since I've gotten onto my PC. I start up Blockland. My authentication from the Bottom Name Bar passes. I join a server. Auto kick, Reason: Could no verify your Blockland ID. Wth??? *Rewind* Before tht. I tried to host. 5 mins later, while I was AFK, the server disconnects due to Authentication Failure. ??!!?

Getting a console log RIGHT NOW.
This one should be about the Failure of Verifying BL_ID

Are you using some kind of proxy, vpn, or other anonimization service?  Are you using satellite or cellular based internet access?

i get this sometimes if i join a server, it just kicks me off but im able to join again

I use AT&T Broadband. Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, it was late and I have school.

I don't know what your talking about, but that's my internet. It is not fast, impossible to use with multiple users, and crashes the flip out of my PS3 on multiplayer when someone uses internet on the computer at the same time.

Checking with BL. This console was yesterdays, when the problem happened.

Just got onto BL. I got kicked off of the first server I clicked due to Failure of Verifying BL_ID even though the bottom bar said who I was; Welcome, Netherwolf

I FORGOT TO THROW THIS WARNING IN. I am now running BL from a brand new ENVY Phoenix. I reinstalled BL, got the code through Email, and used the code. It has ran perfectly for a while. The old PC that contains every BL file I've used in the past is no longer in use, but is kept safely in my house. It will take a long time to extract files from that PC, because we have to unhook, rehook, extract from a 2003 HP Pavilion (Very slow), unhook, and rehook (Approximant of 5hrs. My dad WILL NOT put up with that.) All settings are set to MAX, we set it up like we did to the other, old PC. Basically, there may be a problem having 2 PCs running 2 BLs of the same BL_ID. I highly doubt that it actually raises conflict.

I am still practically blocked from BL. I can't get into any servers with this problem. It's been going on for all servers. Some servers won't even connect. (Connecting to <IP Address>... Forever)

You didn't answer the questions.

What questions? I don't understand what Badspot is asking! All I know is that when I started up BLokcland and hosted, it crashed saying that my Authentication failed. Then, when I joined Anthony's Knifing server, I got autokicked because "Server could not verify your Blockland ID."

Well, then ask your parents to answer those questions. They are important.

He said that he's on ATT broadband. That should be fine.

OP, run this test please and tell us the results: http://www.lagado.com/proxy-test
