List the job you want when you become an adult(if you aren't already)

Mine is the space/space physics branch of science and inventing cool new stuff(such as a rail gun to save your asses in 2028.)

Game creating with my brother, friends and maybe some random people.

Although I call it "teaching", it's more commonly known as Game Development. I want to make games that will change people for the better. I'm hoping to be one of the first AAA-level devs to make indie-like games. We'll see what happens.

Considering how smart you are, I'd say you can do it.

AAA level doesn't mean great games. It means lods of emone. Being smart doesn't automatically give you lods of emone.

You don't have to be very clever to make a game like flap bird and make lods of emone with it for no reason.

<3 Thanks. Means a lot. I'm sure you've got it in you as well. Just make sure to do some research on what all the other developers are saying.

Government Programs, independent investors, loans and savings and a hell of a lot of sources can provide the kind of cash you need to start making quality games, and the profits you from that should eventually turn it enough to finance a big AAA title.

You're right when AAA doesn't mean great games, but it provides the resources that indies don't have access to. There might some kind of unique tech I want to use but it's too expensive for me, less I have the budget of a AAA studio. aka the LA Noire Approach.

Actually, in some respect you do. Aside from making the assets, coding it, marketing it, dealing with licensing and the storefront you want to sell it, actually making the game fun in the first place is a whole line of study. Regardless of whether the guy who made Fappy Bucks studied it at all or not, he sure as hell did enough research and knew what he was doing to make an experience that was fun for a long amount of time (I know people still playing it today).

Meteorologist
