Author Topic: Windows XP is dead  (Read 2922 times)

Yup, it's dead.
Now, to be honest, XP was my most favorite operating system, Not to mention XP was the first OS I ever used. Well, there must be a point where end of life is reached. And it's now. No more security updates or XP patch Tuesday, XP computers will now be targeted by hackers to exploit vulnerabilities and put viruses and bad stuff on computers that still run it. Well, goodbye.

it was made by queeba too

i don't see what the big deal is, i feel that windows significantly improved on their OS since XP and while i still use a computer that has XP installed i prefer 7 to it and feel no nostalgia/don't really feel bad about it going away..

because a lot of companies still run XP for their servers and computers or some stuff.

yes, that's big companies
a few of which are paying microsoft to keep open (ie ATMs) support for another year till they can upgrade

i don't see what that means to mr queeba or the rest of the people on these forums. i highly doubt anyone on the forums is the head of a big company.
