These should be changed as there are plenty of servers that I can't join due to brick lag (4-6 FPS) even with every setting at its minimum, no shaders, render distance set to 50 and without mods.

Oh please. I built my own low-end gaming rig for about $400 and I can run max settings on the average server just fine.
